Der Stein ist zum Nachschleifen abgenutzter Messer sehr geeignet, aber um eine neue Fase zu setzen, jedoch zu Langsam. Da ist eine Atoma 140 oder vergleichbar deutlich schneller. Wer mit system oder von Hand schleift, sollte diesen Stein mit einer einfachen Diamantplatte öffnen, die ersten 3/100 mm müssen weg, da Glasurhart. Danach Stein etwa 5-10 sekunden wässern und loslegen. Gelegentlich wenige tropfen Wasser nachführen ist erforderlich, da der Stein etwas Wasser aufsaugt.
Der 400er macht seinen Job. Culilux selbst ist eine absolute Empfehlung.
