RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL & RETURNS
Statutory Right of Withdrawal — 14 Days, No Reason Required
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. Further details can be found in our Right of Withdrawal Policy.
The easiest way to exercise your right of withdrawal is by using the form below. Alternatively, you may notify us by email at info@culilux.com, by post to KMG Trading e.K., Auf dem Schleich 4b, 55578 Sankt Johann, Germany, or by using our withdrawal form. No specific form of notification is required. Immediately after using the online withdrawal function, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt by email containing your withdrawal declaration as well as the date and time it was received. You may also withdraw from only part of your order.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. Please retain the proof of postage as evidence.
Compensation for loss of value
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
What does this mean for knives? Examine your knife as you would in a specialist shop: hold it, test the handle, weight and balance, and try the sharpness on a sheet of paper. If the knife is used beyond that – for example to cut food –, washed or resharpened, it will show signs of use and can no longer be sold as new. We deduct the resulting loss of value from the refund. The decisive factor is the price at which we can still sell the product.
Voluntary 30-Day Right of Return
In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, we grant you a voluntary right to return the goods within a total period of 30 days from receipt. A refund of the full purchase price is only possible for products in as-new condition, i.e. unused, without signs of use, complete and in the original packaging. If a product shows signs of use, we refund the purchase price less the resulting loss of value. This right does not apply to products sold at a reduced price due to defects or signs of use (1B, 2A, 2B or 3B goods), nor to used goods.
Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected and is not restricted by this. Within the 14-day withdrawal period, the withdrawal rules described above apply, including compensation for loss of value.
To make a return under this voluntary policy, please contact us at info@culilux.com. If you provide us with a reason for the return and thereby help us improve our products, we will provide you with a free DHL return label for returns from Germany. The return label will be sent to you by email. The free return label is an additional service and is not a condition of your right to return the goods. For returns from outside Germany, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
Product Damaged, Defective or Incorrectly Delivered
Are your goods damaged, defective, or incorrect? In this case, the matter is not considered a withdrawal but a defect or incorrect-delivery claim. Please contact us at info@culilux.com. In such cases, we will cover the shipping costs in both directions.
